The Payment Processor Log

When a payment is made using a Payment Processor, such as for example PayPal, the processor returns information relating to the payment that may be useful. For example, if the payment failed you may want to know the reason for failure, or you may wish to know the unique transaction identifier assigned by the processor.

 

Your system records the information returned (and when appropriate sent) from each payment transaction in the Payment Processor Log (below).

You can access the Processor Log from a number of different places including :-

 

From the list of Payment Processors on the Explorer (Setup->Payment Processors)
From a specific Payment Processor e.g. Authorize.net.
From the actual Customer Payment or Cash Sale document action bar (click on Show Processor Log).
