Topic: Setup > Email Templates Mail merge parameters can be included in your email templates as a convenient way of substituting values from the associated document. For example within a Customer template you can use the expression ${first_name} to substitute or merge the Customer's first name when the associated email is created. Mail Merge variable always take the form ${variable name}.
