Breaking Stock Assemblies |

Topic: Products/Services > Working with Items > Stock Assembly Item Sometimes you may wish to disassemble or break Stock Inventory Items previously built using Build Assemblies. This has the following effect on the Stock counts.
1. Decreases the stock count of the Stock Assembly Item.
2. Increases the stock count of the associated sub-Items listed in the Bill Of Materials.
The breaking of assemblies (and therefore the associated stock manipulation) is achieved using a Break Assemblies Document. This document can be created either from the Stock Room folder on the Explorer (under the Actions drop-down), or alternatively from the Action drop-down of the Stock Assembly Item itself.
