Topic: Products/Services > Working with Items > Stock Assembly Item In the real world Stock Assembly Items represent products that are built from constituent parts, or sub-Items. These sub-Items are listed in the Bill Of Materials. Building these products affects your stock by :-
2. Increasing the Stock of the built product.
The building of assemblies (and therefore the associated stock manipulation) is achieved using a Build Assemblies Document. This document can be created either from the Stock Room folder on the Explorer (under the Actions drop-down), or alternatively from the Action drop-down of the Stock Assembly Item itself.
