Creating new Transactions |

Topic: Miscellaneous > Working with Transactional Documents Transaction Documents such as Sales Invoices, Quotes, Purchase Orders, Bills etc. can be created using two basic methods. As an example we will use a new Sales Invoice. The same methods can be used for other similar Documents such as Jobs.
A new Sales Invoice can be created via the associated Customer Document, or alternatively from the New Sales Invoice Page.
Method 1: Via the Customer Document First either find the desired Customer from the Customer List, or create a new Customer if the Document cannot be found.
Then from the Customer Action Bar simply click on 'New Sales Invoice' from the Actions drop-down. This will display a new Sales Invoice

Method 2: Via the New Invoice page 1. Either: Mouse over the Sales Invoice Shortcut and click 'New'. This will display the New Sales Invoice page.

Or: From the Explorer click on Sales->Sales Invoices. This will display the Sales Invoice List. From the Action Bar click 'New Sales Invoice'. This will display the New Sales Invoice page.
Whichever of the above methods you use you will now see the New Sales Invoice page. This page allows you to search for the desired Customer (similar to the Customer List) and create the new Invoice as shown below.
